Blog name inspiration: my parents
After a few days of brainstorming blog names my husband suggests, “What about Bulgogi? That’s a dish that makes you think of your mom, what about your dad?” My first thought was Country Fried Steak, but in the end I landed on Biscuits.
These two delicious dishes ground me, reminding me of who I am, my heritage (half Caucasian/half Korean), and simply make me REALLY hungry!
So, what is Biscuits and Bulgogi about?
B & B is a lifestyle blog. I’ll share everyday adventures meant to inspire, including:
My mid-century house renovation — the craziest adventure I’ve ever been on. I know little to nothing about house renos but I can definitely say I’ve learned a ton and can’t wait to share a few before and after successes. #mcm

Food and Drink — The kitchen is one of my favorite places to be. Baking. Cooking. Sampling a new fav wine or cocktail to share with friends. Cheers! #allinmoderation
Beauty — If I had to compare my love for makeup, nail polish, hair products and skincare to a celebrity crush, it would be right up there with my love for Justin Timberlake and that’s saying A LOT. I also aim to buy cruelty-free. Excited to share reviews, how-tos and give props to beauty experts I adore.
Mind and Body— I’m not a fitness fanatic nor an expert but I do appreciate how it clears my mind (especially meditations), makes me healthier, and gives me more energy. Happy to share my reviews on workouts, apps and other products I have on hand.
Travel — Roadtrips and long weekend getaways are my zen. Whether to see family, spend time with my husband or girlfriends I always feel like I come back learning something new about myself and life.
Henry the Dog — I love all animals, but have a soft spot for canines big and small. On a hike in Colorado my husband called me out after I stopped to say “Hi!” to practically every dog who walked by. My response was, “I can’t help it, I have so much love in my heart!” Which is true and why we rescued our Henry, a Pyrenees mix. Look out for Henry adventures and rando pictures to brighten your day.
